So, after about a year of lugging my Mammoth sized Corsair 800D full tower PC around to friends houses for Battlefield LANs i decided that it was enough. 2 of my friends both use the CM Storm Scout midtower case, and i liked them as soon as i saw them. They are funsized with a strong handle of the top to carry it. Ideal.
I sold my Corsair case for more than twice what the Storm Scout is worth brand new, bought the new, smaller case and got to work.

I thought the huge reduction in size was going to be a problem to make it all fit tidily, especially running a CPU water cooling setup, 1000w power supply and monster video card. But to my surprise everything fitted reasonably well. The video card only took 23 swear words and 1 walk around the outside of my house to get fitting. The power supply unit fits perfect. but the CPU water cooling radiator need some very slight case modification to fit.
I could not fit the whole unit inside the case so i had to externally mount one of the fans. Unfortunatly Cooler Master decided to taper the rear fan vent outwards, so i had to cut the center section of the vent out and hammer and dolly the surrounding steel flat so the fan would sit flush. Lucky im experienced in working with steel otherwise i would have been scratching my head and probably throwing things around the room.
In the end, everything fitted perfect and tidily. Epic win. Here are some photos of the rest of the process..
